The RISE Approach

We have designed a multi-part program that combines academic and practical experience together to ensure that early career participants can find success in their new corporate environments. RISE partners with companies to identify participants for the program, with companies nominating those new hires they plan to develop into future leaders. Content is specifically designed with a focus on real-world topics and practical applications. We offer an experiential approach that serves participants over the first 2 years of their career journey.

RISE Retreats

Each retreat features lectures and interactive sessions focused on growing leadership skills and workplace understanding to gain an edge. Speakers and mentors are experienced executives and educators from across various industries, allowing participants to develop their corporate navigation skills and expand their own professional network.

The program is structed with a two-part retreat series (“Get Ready to RISE” and “Continuing to RISE”). These small group workshops build a community and teach our fellows to RISE throughout their careers.

Our year-long cohort-based coaching program is facilitated by industry professionals who deliver personal feedback and guidance during the program year. The program includes:

  • Multiple hours of group and individual coaching

“The RISE Method” Proprietary Tool

We have built '‘The RISE Method”, a proprietary data collection and feedback tool to assist with continuous development and improvement. Developed with input from industry experts and young professionals, it provides exercises and resources to drive achievement and growth.

Relationships: The cultivation of authentic and sustainable personal and professional relationships.

Inquiries: The ability to find out the “what we don’t know, we don’t know” and get answers, both by ourselves and by seeking help when needed.

Skills: The development of a deep toolkit with functional, technical, and interpersonal skills - going beyond “what do I need to succeed now” to “what do I need to succeed at the next level”.

Expectations: What the expectations are for your role and how to exceed them, as well as what the expectations should be for your boss and team.
